As the Bihar Assembly election results brought jubilation to the NDA camp and disappointment to the Mahagathbandhan, Vikassheel Insan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani said that the NDA won the election as it “openly gave money to women," which, he said, influenced voting patterns.

Sahani said, “10,000 mein kya milta hai? 10,000 mein Bihar sarkar milti hai." (“What do you get for Rs 10,000? You get the Bihar government.")
