From Angel McCoughtry and Shoni Schimmel to Asia Durr and Dana Evans, the Louisville women's basketball program has always had a high-scoring, go-to player and strong supporting cast around her.
Three games into the season, head coach Jeff Walz is still looking for that Cardinal to distinguish herself.
"If you want to be great, every single day you come to practice, there's never a question of, are they going to give 100%?" Walz said. "And that's what we're talking to our players about now, is a standard. You got to have a standard that you demand that from yourself. So, as we continue to progress, we'll see who takes that next step."
