The growing divide between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and President Donald Trump continued to widen through the weekend.
The Georgia Republican blames the public spat on one thing: Jeffrey Epstein.
She told CNN’s Dana Bash on Sunday’s “State of the Union” that their high-profile disagreement, which has led to a social media volley of insults and accusations, “has all come down to the Epstein files.”
“I believe the country deserves transparency in these files, and I don’t believe that rich, powerful people should be protected if they have done anything wrong,” she said Sunday morning. I have no idea what’s in the files. I can’t even guess. But that is the question everyone is asking is why fight this so hard?”
