SAGINAW CO., Mich. (WNEM) – A three-year-old Saginaw County boy has just been diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH).
It is a rare form of cancer that affects five out of every one million children. Oliver’s treatments start next week and now the community is rallying behind Oliver and his family, and you can too.
Oliver finds comfort in his dinosaur named Sue. Oliver was diagnosed with cancer on Nov. 4. That is when close family friend Sarah Theile took action.
“They’re family to us, and I knew that I had to do something,” said Theile.
Theile is putting on a Christmas cookie fundraiser to help Oliver and his family. She will be selling cutout Christmas cookie boxes for $18 per box. Each box will have a dozen premade Christmas cutout cookies and includes frosting and sprin
