DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says one person is facing charges after a police chase on Saturday.

This comes as a video that showed part of the incident began circulating on social media.

Steven Lamont Wright, 51, is being charged with resisting arrest, failure to stop for blue lights and child endangerment.

Public Information Officer Steven Wright says deputies were called to the 9100 block of Parlor Drive at about 7:33 p.m., following an iPhone crash notification. At the scene, deputies spoke with several people who reported that their vehicle had been hit by another vehicle, which had left the scene.
