BOISE, Idaho — A donated evergreen from a southeast Boise neighborhood will make its way downtown Monday morning, marking the start of the city's holiday season celebrations.
According to Boise Park and Recreation, the Community Forestry team will transport the 2025 holiday tree to Grove Plaza on Nov. 17, with assistance from the Boise Police Department.
According to the Ada County Highway District (ACHD), the tree was removed from a home just north of the Simplot Sports Complex, and the move to The Grove Plaza is scheduled for around 8 a.m.
The district stated that drivers in the area may experience some slowdowns, but there should be no major disruptions.
