Jannik Sinner kept his Nitto ATP Finals crown on Sunday in Turin. With loud support from the home fans, he defeated Carlos Alcaraz 7-6(4), 7-5.
Alcaraz and Sinner have been the dominant forces of the 2025 season. Between them, they claimed 13 titles and all four Grand Slams, setting up a fitting showdown on one of tennis’s biggest indoor stages.
Sinner is now the ninth player to win the year-end championship in back-to-back seasons. Only a few greats of the modern era, including Lleyton Hewitt, Roger Federer , and Novak Djokovic , have managed the same achievement.
Playing under intense lights and pressure, Sinner produced fearless, high-precision tennis from start to finish. He saved a crucial set point at 5-6 in the opener and sealed the match after two hours and 15 minutes,
