WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - A one vehicle rollover crash left one person dead near Cheney on Sunday morning.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that a car was driving east on Southeast 20 Street when it left the road to the right. The car then re-entered the roadway and went off the road to the left into the north ditch.

The car rolled an unknown number of times and came to rest on the driver’s side facing north.

The driver was a 32-year-old man from Cheney, Taylor Goldsmith. He died at the scene.

The KHP reports that the time the accident occurred is unknown and still under investigation. It also reports that the reason for the car leaving the road is unknown.
