INDIANAPOLIS — Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in what IMPD is calling an "accidental" shooting .
According to IMPD, around 2:48 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16, officers were called to the 700 block of Edgemont Avenue , which is near West 25th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street on the near northwest side of Indianapolis, on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found two victims who had been shot. IMPD says both victims were reported to be "awake and breathing" and that the shooting "appears accidental." However, IMPD said it has not yet confirmed if the shooting was accidental.
