BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WFSB) - A 35-year-old woman is in critical condition after a crash in Bridgeport on Sunday morning.
Around 11 a.m., police said a sedan collided with a motorcycle near Main St. and Goldenrod Ave.
The motorcycle driver, from Bridgeport, was hospitalized for her injuries.
Police confirmed she was in critical but stable condition.
Authorities said the 75-year-old driver of the sedan, also from Bridgeport, was not injured and cooperated with police.
According to police, the motorcycle was traveling southbound on Main St. when the sedan, traveling northbound, turned left onto Goldenrod Ave. and collided with the motorcycle.
The area has since reopened.
Police reminded all motorcycle drivers to wear a properly worn DOT-approved helmet and exercise heightened caution.
