Dr. Heavenly Kimes faced a challenging time filming Married to Medicine after her son Damon Jr. was arrested for assault.
“[I went into the season] how I always go into the seasons,” Heavenly, 54, exclusively told Us Weekly on Saturday, November 16, while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas. “Whatever I’m going through actually comes up on camera.”
She added, “I don’t like to talk about it, but I was forced to talk about a lot of things this season that I never do, and it’s explosive.”
Heavenly, who has starred on Married to Medicine since 2014’s season 2, further offered insight into what made season 12 so difficult.
