LOS ANGELES ( Nebraska Athletics ) - The No. 1 Nebraska volleyball team finished off its West Coast road trip with a 25-13, 25-16, 25-20 sweep of red-hot USC on Sunday afternoon at the Galen Center.
The match was played in front of a crowd of 9,072, a USC school record at the Galen Center. The Nebraska volleyball program has now been part of attendance records in 12 of the 18 Big Ten facilities over the last three seasons.
Nebraska (26-0, 16-0 Big Ten) hit .412, its third time in the last four matches hitting over .400. It was the best hitting percentage by a USC opponent this season, crushing the .302 UCLA hit against the Trojans on Oct. 29.
The 17th-ranked Trojans, who had won nine matches in a row, hit .156 and fell to 20-6 (11-5 Big Ten). It was the second-lowest hitting percentag
