SIESTA KEY, Fla. ( WWSB ) - After four days of intense creativity on Siesta Key’s famed shoreline— new champions have emerged at the Crystal Classic Sandsculpting Festival, where artists from around the world transformed the beach’s renowned sand into beautiful works of art.

Since 2010, the Siesta Key Crystal Classic Sandsculpting Festival has been an internationally recognized sand sculpting event held each year Siesta Beach.

Throughout the festival, sculptors raced against the clock, given only a set number of hours each day to bring their visions to life. Spectators were invited to watch the creations take shape from the first grain of sand to the final detail.
