Holiday meals are special.

Lakelands people are working to make sure everyone has a place at the table this Thanksgiving.

Among those working to make this happen is 21-year-old Isabella Young, a senior at Lander University in Greenwood, majoring in business administration with an emphasis in healthcare management.

“I love my own green bean casserole,” Isabella said. “I make a really good green bean casserole.”

Isabella is planning to prepare and serve a Thanksgiving meal at Montague’s Restaurant at 5 p.m. Nov. 23. All are welcome to partake, sign up to donate toward food costs, or volunteer.
