At one point in the first half Sunday, everything that could have gone wrong for the Green Bay Packers … did.

Their previously impenetrable defense allowed its first opening-drive touchdown and its first first-quarter touchdown of the season to put them in a seven-point hole.

Their offense, already without one of their brightest stars — tight end Tucker Kraft, who is done for the season with a torn ACL in his right knee — had both gone to the locker room with injuries: Quarterback Jordan Love, with a left shoulder injury, and running back Josh Jacobs, with a knee injury.

Their would-be pass catchers, particularly wide receiver Romeo Doubs, couldn’t catch a cold in the first half, dropping almost as many passes (five) as Love completed (six).
