Snow showers continue overnight, wrapping up on Monday

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - After a busy and messy First Alert Sunday, snow showers continue across Northern and Eastern communities this evening, although a few scattered snow showers are also possible elsewhere. A few rain showers may fall on the Midcoast and in a few Washington County communities. These rain showers should wrap up or turn over to rain before midnight.

The First Alert will remain in effect for Inland and Northern locations this evening because of steady snow showers to the North and East. Some icing is still possible but less likely. Wind gusts are also picking up. The First Alert will be dropped on Monday morning. Winter Weather Advisories remain active for Northern Maine until 1pm on Monday.
