LARAMIE -- The high school football season has officially reached its end following the five state championship games at War Memorial Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
In 4A, the No. 1-seeded Sheridan beat No. 2 Campbell County by a score of 17-10. It was Sheridan's fifth state championship victory in as many years and their 55th victory in a row. Breck Reed and Keegan Rager contributed both of Sheridan's touchdowns on the ground while William Greer tacked on a 36-yard field goal. Campbell County's lone touchdown came from James Hahn with a field goal by Carson Eischied.
The top seed in 3A, Star Valley, topped No. 2 Cody 26-21. The win was Star Valley's fourth state championship in a row and 33rd consecutive victory. Star Valley's Phoenixx Hovey ran for two touchdowns and threw for two oth
