Before former Saints quarterback Drew Brees made his Fox debut at the Packers-Giants game on Sunday, he got advice from a colleague.
Because Tom Brady has been in that position before, he offered some words of wisdom during the “Fox NFL Sunday” pregame show.
“I’m glad I’m not a rookie anymore, but I’d warn him of all the mistakes I made in my first year, but we’d be here for an hour,” Brady said, via Awful Announcing . “So, I’m not going to tell you any of those things. He knows what to do. Have fun, just enjoy yourself, and don’t read all those social media comments after.”
Fox’s big three analysts are now Tom Brady, Greg Olsen and Brees.
In his new role, Brees is paired up with play-by-play caller Adam Amin.
Amin’s previous booth partner was Mark Sanchez, who was arrested last
