COLUMBIA, S.C. — Columbia Police and family members are still searching for 34-year-old Dawone Wilson, who has been missing since April. His family said they briefly had contact with him in June, but have heard nothing since.

“Dawone is a big aspect to our family, and by him being missing is really tearing us apart,” his mother, Audrey Wilson, said.

She said the last time she saw her son, he was riding a borrowed bicycle that had a blue chain locked around the seat.

“He was riding a bike; it has a blue chain around the neck of the seat that cannot be removed by a key because the key cannot be found,” she said. “That was my last time seeing him.”
