The Pacers have listed wing Bennedict Mathurin as questionable for Monday's game in Detroit as the injury news gets better, even if the results on the court don't.
With Aaron Nesmith out a month, Mathurin's return is important to salvaging something from the season as he scored 62 points in the season's first two games before spraining his right great toe. He's missed the last three weeks with coach Rick Carlisle saying his return was close Saturday.
"We did a simulated game kind of workout (Saturday) morning," Carlisle said. "He went through things in prep (Saturday). He's moving in a good direction."
