Former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Bernie Kosar has announced an update on his liver transplant journey.
In a video shared to social media Sunday, November 16, Kosar says "We'll see you before 5 a.m. tomorrow, it's on."
The 61-year-old has undergone six procedures at a Cleveland hospital since last Sunday for what he described as aggressive bleeding. He was expected to get a liver transplant last weekend, but said on social media that procedure was delayed due to an infection in the donor's organ.
Kosar finished his recent post with his signature "You Matter" phrase.
He was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in late 2023.
