Four people were hospitalized after a sedan hit a home in Valle Vista, near Hemet, on Sunday, Nov. 16.

Crews responded around 3:15 p.m. to the 44000 block of Lately Circle, near Fairview and Palm avenues and north of Highway 74, where firefighters removed someone who was trapped in a car after it hit a home, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

The driver of the car and three people in the home were hospitalized with moderate to minor injuries, fire officials said.

Because the home had major damage, Red Cross services were requested for seven people who were displaced.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
