The stars were out to close the weekend at the 2025 Governors Awards !

This year’s event took place on Sunday (November 15) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Los Angeles.

The Governors Awards celebrate a series of “awards conferred by the Academy’s Board of Governors – the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and the Honorary Award.”

Highlights from the event will be shown during the upcoming 2026 Oscars , which will take place in March 2026.

Recipients of the Governors Awards this year include Debbie Allen , Tom Cruise , Wynn Thomas and Dolly Parton , who missed out on the event due to health issues.
