BOONE, N.C. —

The Wofford women’s basketball team fell 66-42 to the App State Mountaineers on Sunday afternoon at the Holmes Convocation Center. The Terriers fall to 1-3 while App State improves to 3-1.

The Terriers finished the afternoon shooting 17-of-58 (29.3%) while knocking in four of their 24 attempts from three. App State shot 31-of-58 (53.4%) and made 10 triples. Wofford shot 12-of-13 from the charity stripe. Leading the scoring efforts was Queen Ikhiuwu with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Molly Masingale followed behind with 10.

Wofford lost the battle on the glass for the first time all season, as the team pulled down 28 boards compared to 39 by the Mountaineers. App State totaled 36 points in the paint to Wofford’s 20. Ikhiuwu paced the team with six rebounds. Toni Warren and
