President Donald Trump in a Truth Social message posted Sunday evening told House Republicans they "should" vote to release the Epstein files, stressing that "we have nothing to hide."

The president previously criticized House Republicans who announced their intent to vote for the release of all files as "very bad, or stupid," but on Sunday appeared to change his tune when he told House Republicans they "should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax."

Newsweek reached out to the White House and Senate Majority Leader John Thune's office by email outside of normal business hours on Sunday evening for further comment.
