ASHTABULA — Sgt. Brian Clark returned to his home church Sunday morning bringing a message of honor to veterans.

Clark became involved in the church as a 16-year-old, and enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2001, Hiawatha Church of God in Christ lead pastor Steve Sargent said. Sargent said Clark participated in four different deployments, two to Iraq and two to Afghanistan.
