The Detroit Lions defense had been the highlight all night against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as they kept the key matchup close despite Detroit’s offensive struggles.

But the game would be decided because of a defensive pass interference call against cornerback Rock Ya-Sin on third down in the final two minutes that would’ve potentially given the Lions one more shot to tie what would finish as a 16-9 loss .
