TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Hotels are already filling up with cyclists ready to take on the El Tour de Tucson next weekend and the events to get people prepped are in full swing.

One of those is the bi-annual bike swap put on by the Greater Arizona Bicycle Association.

Gloves, helmets, and bikes scattered around Broadway Sunday morning for the largest bike swap in the Southwest.

Vendors were selling all of those goods in preparation for El Tour de Tucson that’s coming up next weekend. However, lot of the people that stopped by were residents that are testing the waters and meeting the people that make up the cycling community here in southern Arizona.

“This community is so into cycling,” resident Joshua Zack said. “It’s just fun. It’s fun to be a part of it.”
