Sometimes it’s hard to put it into words.
But after winning the 2025 Grey Cup on Sunday 25-17 over the Montreal Alouettes , many members of the victorious Saskatchewan Roughriders were asked the question of what winning the championship means to them.
Here’s what they had to say:
“It’s hard to explain,” said long snapper Jorgen Hus , a 10-year veteran who is celebrating his first Grey Cup . “It’s just a decade worth of emotions coming out.
“We’ve been trying for this moment. We’ve got the best fans in the world, in the country, and I’m just so happy for the province. I’m so happy for everybody, so happy for Rider Nation and so happy for all these guys.
“This group is so close. Everybody comes in early, stays late, gets along. It’s the funnest year of football I’ve ever had.”
