Ireland's President has led tributes to the five young people - including a woman from Scotland - who lost their lives in a horror road crash as they travelled together to enjoy a night out.
Chloe Hipson, 21, from Bellshill in Lanarkshire, died alongside four others in the collision on Ardee Road in the townland of Gibstown in Dundalk, County Louth, at 9pm on Saturday. The crash involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
Gardaí , Irish police, confirmed five occupants of the Volkswagen Golf - three men and two women - were killed in the collision.
