Thanksgiving fakery

Walmart's announcement of its annual Thanksgiving meal at its "lower than last year's price" is, I believe, its attempt to spin a false tale about our challenged economy under President Donald Trump, and an outright lie.

Perhaps it was a corporate kiss-up to Trump to make him look better as he spews falsehoods about how prices have dropped since he came into office. But anyone who goes to a grocery store on a regular basis knows that most prices have increased. Sure, there are a few things that have gone down in cost, but not many. Ground beef at $5 a pound? I've never seen that in my lifetime. Milk at about $4 a gallon? That's a first, too. It's still more expensive to eat now than since he took office in January.
