Mumbai, Nov 17: The state government’s hugely popular ‘Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ has reached its final deadline for e-KYC verification, which is set to end tomorrow, November 18. However, as many as 1 crore 10 lakh eligible women are yet to complete their e-KYC. With this large number pending, the government is expected to take a crucial decision to offer relief to beneficiaries.

With local self-government elections approaching, the ruling government is keen on avoiding discontent among women voters. There is a strong possibility that the deadline for e-KYC will be extended, ensuring that maximum beneficiaries can regularize their details without facing last-minute hurdles.
