“The offense sucks,” one fan who appeared to be in his late 70s complained as he rode the elevator down following the Eagles’ 16-9 win over the Detroit Lions Sunday night.

“A.J., go read a bleeping book,” another screamed when star receiver A.J. Brown was flagged for an illegal block on a Saquon Barkley run that had taken the Eagles into Detroit territory on the final play of the third quarter.

“Throw it to A.J. every play,” was overheard early in the evening after the offense could only kick field goals despite being gifted great field position by the defense early in the game.
