The Met Office has rolled out several yellow weather warnings for ice and snow as Britain braces for a brutal cold snap.
Yellow weather warnings for ice are now active across north and north east Scotland, encompassing Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Moray and Highland. These warnings remain in force from 7pm on Monday through to 10am on Tuesday .
A distinct yellow warning for snow has been put in place for much of Scotland, running from 3am Tuesday until 6pm the same day, with the Met Office forecasting up to 5cm of snow. An additional yellow warning for ice
