A man has tragically died following a stabbing incident on a busy road in Birmingham. The attack occurred shortly after 5pm on Sunday, November 16th, on Hutton Road in the Handsworth Wood area.

West Midlands Ambulance Service received reports of the stabbing at 5.22pm. A spokesperson stated, "We were called to reports of a stabbing near to the junction off Stamford Road and Hutton Road."

Emergency responders included one ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a Medical Emergency Response and Intervention Team (MERIT) trauma doctor, accompanied by a critical care paramedic. An off-duty doctor also arrived to provide assistance.

Upon arrival, the medical team found a man with serious injuries who was already receiving medical attention. Ambulance staff began administering advanced life support immediately. However, despite their efforts, it became clear that nothing could be done to save him, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
