A shooting in Waterloo Sunday night sent one person to the hospital, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police and paramedics were called to the 600 block of West Second Street at around 11:20 Sunday night on a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound. The person was located and taken to a nearby hospital. Details of the shooting, the person’s identity and condition have not yet been released.
