Tensions have escalated in the family of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav in the wake of recent Bihar Assembly election results , after his daughter Rohini Acharya announced her decision to step away from both politics and her family. The move, which comes after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, has sparked intense speculation about the future of the famed Yadav household.

Following Rohini’s exit, her three sisters, Ragini, Chanda, and Rajlakshmi, also left the parental home, amplifying public curiosity about the political and personal lives of Lalu Yadav’s children. Lalu and his wife Rabri Devi have nine children in total including two sons and seven daughters, several of whom have carved out public and political identities of their own.
