SRINAGAR : Police in Pulwama arrested two long-term absconders in separate operations on Monday, continuing their drive to trace and detain individuals evading the legal process for years. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Officials said that Kakapora Police arrested Nazir Ahmad Dar, known as Rustum, son of Abdul Salam Dar of Katibugh Kakapora. He had been declared a proclaimed offender by the Court of JMIC Pulwama in a case registered under the Negotiable Instruments Act. Officers said Dar had been avoiding arrest for a prolonged period before being traced and produced before the court.

In a separate operation, Rajpora Police apprehended Shabir Ahmad Gorsi, son of Balya Gorsi of Zampathri Keller, Shopian. Gorsi had been wanted for nearly 25 years in FIR No. 31/1
