JONESBORO — During its Monday, Nov. 10 regular meeting, the Jonesboro City Council tabled a conditional use permit and four variance requests for a 200-unit apartment complex.
The proposed apartment complex is on more than 29 acres at 262 and 294 S. Main St. near the Poston Road intersection.
According to information from the Nov. 10 agenda, the development would include three four-story buildings and a central amenity area.
The variance requests include relief from the Gateway South District’s standards related to porches and balconies, primary materials, sidewalks and landscape requirements.
In other action during the Nov. 10 meeting, the Council approved:
— A conditional use permit for a technical and trade school for cosmetology at 8712 Tara Blvd.
— To buy four in-car radios for
