PARMA, Ohio -- Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter visited with local seniors the day after Veterans Day.
After a morning visit to Pleasant Lake Villa for a Continuum Care Hospice pinning ceremony, where he presented three veterans with certificates of appreciation and thanked them for their service to the country, the mayor followed that with an afternoon visit to Broadview Multi-Care Center for another pinning ceremony.
During both visits, DeGeeter expressed his gratitude to the veterans and talked about the multiple veterans’ organizations and health-care facilities in Parma that provide support for area veterans.
