After results were declared officially for the Jubilee Hills by-election, the Election Commission of India (ECI) lifted the ‘Model Code of Conduct’ (MCC) on Monday.

“Following the official declaration of results for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency By-Election, the Election Commission of India has lifted the Model

Code of Conduct (MCC) with immediate effect,” District Election Officer, R V Karnan, stated in an official statement on Monday.

The MCC came into force on October 6, the day the ECI announced the by-election schedule for the Jubilee Hills by-election. The by-election was held on November 11, and results were declared on November 14.
