In a tragic incident, an army jawan was killed after a speeding dumper hit his motorcycle in Assam’s Tinsukia district on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Oken Darin, resident of Roing in Arunachal Pradesh.

As per inputs, at the time of the accident, Darin was returning to his quarters from the National Cadet Corps (NCC) office after work.

Upon receiving the information, Digboi police arrived at the scene and recovered the body.

The driver of the dumper identified as Ricky Das has been arrested.
