In a big development connected to the recent Red Fort car blast in Delhi, investigators have arrested a youth from Qazigund, identified as Danish alias ‘Jasir’ Bilal, for his alleged links to the “white-collar” terror network that orchestrated the attack.
According to police sources, Danish, a political science graduate, was being radicalized by Dr. Umar Nabi, an assistant professor at Al-Falah University in Haryana. Dr. Umar, along with other educated professionals, including Dr. Adeel Rather and Dr. Muzaffar Ganaie, is believed to have played a key role in a sophisticated terror module affiliated with the banned outfits Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Gazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH).
Investigations revealed that Danish first came into contact with the group at a mosque in Kulgam in October 2023
