EAST LIVERPOOL Police in East Liverpool are seeking information after a malnourished dog was found abandoned in the city on Sunday, with initial reports suggesting the animal may have been thrown from a moving vehicle.
The East Liverpool Police Department shared photos of the dog on its Facebook page, showing the animal's ribs clearly visible beneath its skin, an indication of neglect and starvation.
According to the department's post, the dog was dropped off on Ravine Street early Sunday afternoon. Authorities are currently reviewing camera footage from the area of Bradshaw and Ravine Streets, focusing on the time frame between 5:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
