DETROIT -- Former Detroit Tigers infielder Eddys Leonard has signed a minor-league deal with the Milwaukee Brewers .
Leonard, 25, spent most of 2025 with the Atlanta Braves’ Triple-A affiliate after being released by the Tigers at the start of the season.
Leonard was acquired from the Los Angeles Dodgers at the 2023 trade deadline , shortly after the Eduardo Rodriguez deal fell through , and immediately made a positive impression at Triple-A Toledo. But he battled injuries in 2024 and was designated for assignment after the season .
He went 2-for-15 with a double during a short stint in big-league camp in 2025.
