Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has spoken out after an FIR was registered against him and seven others, including his wife Shwetambari Bhatt, in connection with an alleged Rs 30 crore fraud case linked to a proposed biopic project. The complaint, filed by Indira IVF founder Dr Ajay Murdia at Bhupalpura police station in Udaipur, accuses Bhatt and his associates of financial wrongdoing and false promises.

According to the FIR, Dr Murdia claims he was persuaded to invest in a film based on his late wife’s life, with alleged assurances that the project would generate around Rs 200 crore in profits. Mehboob and Dinesh Kataria have also been named in the complaint.
