Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is eager to become developed and self-reliant. Delivering the sixth Ramnath Goenka Lecture in New Delhi, Mr Modi said that people have seen how the past 25 years of the 21st century have passed with great speed, and one challenge after another has come and yet the pace of India could not be stopped. He said, despite global challenges, the Indian economy is growing at a faster rate. He said, India is heading towards the vibrant future. Mr Modi said, India is not just an emerging market but also an emerging model. He said, today, the world sees the Indian Growth Model as a model of hope. Referring to the recent Bihar Assembly elections, the Prime Minister said that the State has recorded the highest ever turnout since 1951.
