University of Michigan Regent Jordan Acker will face a competitor for the Democratic party nomination in next year’s election.
Sean Rositano, 32, of Detroit, announced Monday that he plans to challenge Acker, one of two regents up for re-election to the eight-member board. Rositano said Democrats should replace both Acker and Paul Brown in 2026.
