A new company is offering a farm-to-porch Christmas tree service in Hampton Roads.

Tidings & Timber will deliver, set up and do postseason cleanup of your Christmas tree.

“We provide an affordable and turnkey service and experience that deletes excuses for the convenience of an artificial tree,” said Nate Layman, co-owner of Tidings & Timber. “We want you to have all the smells and symbolism without the hassle.”

Layman grew up working on a Christmas tree farm in Harrisonburg and co-founded the company with Danny Zelaya, his college best friend. Layman said they chose this business idea because of the joy it could bring during the coldest time of the year.
