A fire at a Catoosa County home over the weekend is under investigation.

It happened on Sunday afternoon on Roach Hollow Road.

County officials said crews could see flames and heavy smoke as they arrived at the home.

Firefighters were able to put out the blaze but not before it heavily damaged the home.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no firefighters were hurt.

Southeast Emergency Response is helping the family.

The cause is under investigation.
